Raw Almond Brownies

RAW ALMOND BROWNIES

1 cup of organic almond flour

1/3 cup of organic shredded coconut

1/4 cup organic raw cacao powder

3 Tablespoons of organic raw blue agave

1/4 cup chopped organic almonds

1/4 cup of purified water

Blend all ingredients together.  May need to add more or less water for smooth consistency.  Pour into small plastic tupperware container so that brownie batter is at least 1/2 inch ~ 1 inch thick covering the bottom of small plastic tupperware.  I often use the round size tupperware containers that are the size of  butter, humus or cottage cheese containers at the store.  Then put your brownie batter that is inside the tupperware container into the freezer for a few hours.  Once fully frozen cut into small triangle shapes for a fun and taste the delight of a brownie that is actually nutritious for your body.

Blessings,  Catalina

Seaweed Salad

Wednesday, October 6th, 2010

12 oz Kelp Noodles (you can find these pre-packaged at health food stores)

6 oz. Mixed Sea Vegtables (you can find these pre-packaged at health food stores)

2 Tablespoons of Raw Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 Tablespoons Of Raw Organic Almond Butter

1 Organic English Cucumber

Allow kelp noodles to soak in purified water for a few minutes and then put kelp noodles into a large salad bowl.  Rinse your mixed sea vegetables really well as they may have been packaged in a sea salt preservative and then toss them into the salad bowl with the kelp noodles.  Next add your 2 tablespoons of raw organic extra virgin olive oil and the 2 tablespoons of raw organic almond butter.  Mix the kelp noodles, sea vegetables, olive oil and almond butter really, really well.  Then dice your organic English cucumber into small square pieces and stir the cucumber pieces into your seaweed salad.

This seaweed salad recipe serves 2 people.  Double the ingredients to serve 4 people.

Seaweed Salad Recipe was inspired by my friend Jillian who turned me onto seaweed.

Blue Thunder ~ Green Soup

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

This recipe was given to me via the Blue Thunder family.  Blue Thunder is an amazing earth healer and his wife is the one who graciously shared this delicious and extremely simply green soup recipe with me.

GREEN SOUP

1 lb – organic green beans

4 organic zucchinis

1 bunch of organic parsley

1 bunch of organic celery

3 cloves of organic fresh garlic

Chop up veggies ~ add all veggies at once into a pot of boiling water ~ boil for 5 minutes ~ then sit for 5 minutes ~ blend together in a blender and viola you have your GREEN SOUP.

Now I have added my own flair of a few extra ingredients such as fresh minced garlic and sea salt into the pot of boiling vegetables to add some flavor.  In addition I have added fresh basil to this recipe on occasion and have had added broccoli too.  I change the recipe up a bit to give this very healthy soup a new flavor every time I make it.  Enjoy !
