RECIPE: Black Bean Hummus

ORGANIC BLACK BEAN HUMMUS

This is super yummy ~ fairly easy to make ~ delicious and nutritious !

PREPARE THE BLACK BEANS

Soak Them In Purified Water Overnight ! 

THINGS TO GATHER

* 2 CUPS OF ORGANIC BLACK BEANS (Soak)

* ORGANIC CELERY 1/2 CUP (Chopped)

* ORGANIC VIOLET/RED ONION 1/2 CUP (Chopped)

* 2 OR 3 CLOVES OF FRESH ORGANIC GARLIC

*1/4 CUP OLIVE OIL

*1 ORGANIC LEMON (Squeeze The Fresh Juice From It)

* 2 TABLESPOONS OF RAW TAHINI (Please See Raw Tahini Recipe Of How Catalina Makes Her Own: http://catalinasangels.com/recipe-organic-homemade-raw-tahini/)

* 1 TEASPOON OF CUMIN

* 1 TEASPOON PINK HIMALAYAN SALT

* 1/4 CUP FRESH ORGANIC CILANTRO

BOIL BLACK BEANS

After soaking black beans overnight ~ put them in a pot to boil with the 1/2 cup celery & 1/2 cup onions and 1/2 teaspoon of pink salt.  Once beans are fully cooked (around 45 minutes to an hour)………drain water and put BLACK BEANS mixture into a food processor.  

THEN ADD ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS TO FOOD PROCESSOR:

Add your Garlic, Olive Oil, Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice, Cumin, 1/2 Teaspoon Of Pink Salt, Cilantro & Raw Tahini ~ Allow Food Processor To Process Ingredients For A Good 3 To 4 Minutes Until Creamy Smooth.

I Found The Black Bean Hummus To Be Super Tasty And Used It For Dipping Cucumber Chips & Celery In.  I Have Also Used The Black Bean Hummus On My Raw Tacos & Homemade Quinoa Veggie Burgers ~ Amazingly Delicious ! In~Joy !
